COLCHAGUA VALLEY EXPERIENCE
Full Day Tour
Be part of one of the most exclusive wine experiences in Chile and discover why the Colchagua Valley is considered the birthplace of Chile’s iconic wines. Located in the central part of the country, about two hours south of Santiago, this valley is famous for producing high-quality wines, especially reds like Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah, and Malbec.
Our first stop will be at Viña Neyen, known for its focus on producing premium wines. Founded in 2002, Neyen stands out for its signature blend of Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon, which reflects the history and unique character of the region. The vineyard features century-old vines from the 19th century, some of the oldest in the valley, planted in mineral-rich soils and with ideal climatic conditions for viticulture. After visiting this iconic heritage vineyard, we’ll head to Viña Montes, owned by the so-called “Lord of Chilean Wine,” Aurelio Montes. This spectacular and world-renowned winery is set on beautiful grounds, which you’ll explore in a clever guided tour through the hills surrounding this exclusive sub-valley called Apalta. While at Viña Montes, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to have lunch at the famous Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, led by the world-acclaimed chef Francis Mallmann, a master of meats and fire, offering an unforgettable experience you’ll cherish forever.
